| Description: Pilbeam MP62/14 For sale, this is the last ever MP62 made and has been converted to run the later MP82 undertray floor and rear diffusor,Powered by a geniune Swindon Vauxhall Touring car engine running on methanol and producing over 300bhp. Engine was rebuilt in 2010 including a brand new head supplied by swindon. Gearbox is a FGC 5 speed with hewland sequential kit , with many spare ratios, the cwp was rebuilt at the start of this year with brand new GKN cv joints by MBR racing. The car comes with 3 sets of wheels 2 sets of Avon soft hillclimb spec slicks! And one set of virtually brand new Avon wets. There is a large spares package including spare bodywork, front wing , suspension parts , gearbox parts and a engine pre heater. Last two results of 2011 the car acheived a second overhaul at Castle combe only beaten by a Gould GR37. And the last event at Castle Combe The car acheived FTD by over 4 secs and a new course record. The car is in immaculate condition and has been maintained regardless of cost. Price now reduced. |
